Minute-min are volunteer sysadmins who respond within a minute's notice to network emergencies.

This is an unpaid position.
How to Apply
- If you're new to Unix, complete the unix101 tutorial.
- Join us over on IRC on #team and say hello!
- Send an email to admin@ircnow.org
- We can provide an OpenBSD virtual private server if you can provide verification using one of the methods below:
- Find a mutual friend who can refer you to IRCNow staff, OR
- Contribute 2 wiki articles, OR
- Share a code project you've worked on, OR
- Share a personal social media/website/blog you write for
- You get two weeks to complete your first task in the bootcamp. As you finish tasks, you get bonus extensions of time.
- After you finish training, you'll get interviewed; if you qualify, you'll be promoted to minutemin staff!
Your Duties
- Keep in regular contact with us on IRC
- Commit to help your team for a minimum of 5 hours per week
- Finish the IRCNow Bootcamp.
- Help with admin and user support
